<br /> <br /> The "manual" has aroused some concern in Brazil, due to the still discussed history of the Military Dictatorship 1964-1985 and some unresolved issues concern the victims of the repression, as<br /> well as some losses among military personnel. It appears, in 2011, many in Brazil's military are still in a "Cold-War-Mode" in spite of the clear evidence that no organized international or<br /> domestic "communist revolutionary" movement exists that could threaten Brazil, but insist in pointing at the remnants of FARC-ELN in Colombia, or wonder about Venezuela's positions<br /> (which are moving- as in most Latin America to the nationalistic "center").  But increasingly Brazil's military is openly contemplating the contemporary "adversary" and its<br /> de-facto-agents, who  are active on behalf of the hegemony of the USA and its "NATO-Partners", whose aim is preceived (by the majority of ALL Brazilians) to "control" and if possible<br /> stunt the "independent" economic and geopolitical development of Brazil - not only as a major agro-export competitor, but as important  element in a pan-latin-american move towards<br /> independence from the USA: Watch the CELAC meeting December 2011!). Col.ret. Gelio Fregapani stated it clearly in his last commentary in "Defesanet": "Many of my brother-in-arms choose wrong<br /> targets and continue to aim at old adversaries, who are not longer our enemies: Dilma, Genuino, and others, and forget today's enemies...(he then lists some brazilian politicians perceived as<br /> collaborators with today's adversaries).  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />

<br /> <br /> Hello Jans ,<br /> <br /> <br />  I always appreciate yours commentaries which are of a great interest for me and the other readers of the blog . I think that there is still in the Brazilian military a conflict beetwen<br /> the " linha dura " fraction and the " Grupo de la Sorbonne " fraction , even if the names changed and the fracture lines are others . I totally agree with you and Col.Fregapani about the<br /> designation of the " ennemy within " which are mondialist politicians and western NGO's . As you can see , i also blog on Russia and some " nationalists " which i call the " Orange- Brows "<br />  appear there  to have links with the NED , PolOff of the Us embassy and even traders on the FOREX !<br /> <br /> <br /> Abraços<br /> <br /> <br /> Daniel BESSON<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
